As Director of Operations in Florida, Chris ensures that the 350,000 annual visitors who recreate at the 11 Naventure-managed locations in the Ocala National Forest, have a safe and enjoyable experience. Before joining Naventure, Chris worked for the Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) for 14 years.  Chris began with NOC as a Chattooga River Guide and left as a member of the Executive Team who was responsible for all outdoor adventure activities that NOC offered at the Nantahala River location.  This included whitewater rafting both guided and unguided, mountain top ziplining, aerial adventure park, mountain biking, lake kayaking, alpine tower, and the treetop net adventure. 

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Sciences with an emphasis on Natural Resource Management.
