Silver Glen Springs Recreation Area Soil Restoration

Naventure, in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, proudly completed a soil restoration project at Silver Glen Springs Recreation Area in Ocala National Forest. This initiative involved bringing in 400 yards of materials—base fill, shell, sand, and topsoil—to elevate the main area by approximately 10-12 inches. By covering exposed roots caused by heavy foot traffic, we have created a safer, more accessible path through the Recreation Area. Additionally, we replaced the mat at the swimming area entrance and replanted grass seed in key areas, enhancing the overall visitor experience.

At Naventure, our commitment to sustainable outdoor recreation is unwavering. This project at Silver Glen Springs is a testament to our dedication to reinvesting in the natural attractions we manage, ensuring they remain pristine and enjoyable for generations to come. Working hand in hand with the U.S. Forest Service, we strive to balance unforgettable outdoor adventures with the responsible stewardship of nature’s most treasured sites.
